| Description | I can't run php 7.4, specifically 7.4.6-4. But so far no issues on 7.2 and 7.3 | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | sudo yum module list php AlmaLinux 8.3 - AppStream Name Stream Profiles Summary php 7.2 [d][e] common [d], devel, minimal PHP scripting language php 7.3 common [d], devel, minimal PHP scripting language php 7.4 common [d], devel, minimal PHP scripting language Reset the module... sudo yum module reset php Enabling 7.4... yum module enable php:7.4 Remove older php 7.2... to make it sure not conflicting... sudo yum remove php Install php... based on enabled php 7.4 sudo yum install php Last metadata expiration check: 1:57:22 ago on Wed 03 Feb 2021 14:27:03 EST. Error: Problem: conflicting requests - nothing provides php-common(x86-64) = 7.4.6-4.module_el8.3.0+6140+77b1a879.cloudlinux needed by php-7.4.6-4.module_el8.3.0+6140+77b1a879.x86_64 (try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages or '--nobest' to use not only best candidate packages) | ||||
| Additional Information | yumdownloader --source php As per notice on the php.spec at line 0000077 %global release %{?release}.cloudlinux Maybe that's causing the issue as can't recompile as too many needed dependencies package. I also tried on the CentOS 8, this almalinux.repo It seems works well as long as you remove the original centos or centos stream repos | ||||
