| Description | amd-ucode need to be uncompressed to work with early loading, in current Alma 9.2 the files are xz compressed https://almalinux.pkgs.org/9/almalinux-baseos-x86_64/linux-firmware-20230310-135.el9_2.alma.1.noarch.rpm.html This was fixed in upstream commit https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/commit/WHENCE?id=ee91452dac5abfc4c5b9827cf55e701d8c0ca678 which landed in centos stream in 20230625-137 https://gitlab.com/redhat/centos-stream/rpms/linux-firmware/-/commit/c019edd51324d5674506984eb22e0b8b4032f5bd As 9.3 is pretty close the fix might be to just wait | ||||
