What is your disk controller? Is it reasonably "new"? I ask because some older hardware is not supported. |

No, not new. im not pro linux user, I think it has to do with modules(drivers) but I don't know how and which ones to use when installing the OS. |

To find out which kernel module is required, we need to know the device ID . Is there any way to boot your system using some live image? Once booted, you can run "lspci -nn" to get the device info. |
