| Description | When trying to launch Alma8 or Alma9 marketplace AMI on G5 instance, I get an error it is not supported. Launching the community AMI from Wiki is fine. Please can you enable the marketplace AMI to support all new/latest EC2 instance types and in particular G5.*? | ||||

Hi Mike, Thanks for your reporting, we did the changes below: Please, let us know which instance types should be added. Next time, We will add them at them the same day that you reported. :) Sorry for the delay. Thanks a lot! AlmaLinux OS 8 x86_64: Added new 108 instance types, including C6in, R6a, G4 and G5. AlmaLinux OS 8 AArch64: Added new 31 instance types, including M7g, R7g, Is4gen, Im4gn, G5g and c7g. |
