Appears to be fixed in AlmaLinux 8.6. |

...and broken again in 9.0-beta. Just look for "rhc" in the comps files. (It's a small thing, but it is breaking some of my automation.) |

Problem has returned in AlmaLinux 9.1. find almalinux/9.1 -name \*comps\*.xml | xargs grep rhc ...should not find anything, but it does. |

Hello. Sorry for inconvenience. I've updated release engineering scripts to make sure this won't happen again. rhc and rhc-devel packages were removed from groups in AppStream and CRB os repos for all arches. Usually we don't touch kickstart repos after release. Are you using os or kickstart in your configuration? |

Yes, it's fixed. Thank you! We are using os. Our scripts collect a minimal set of packages to satisfy all dependencies because we need a stand-alone Kickstart .iso that can work without an Internet connection. (It is a somewhat unusual use case.) So the kickstart repos do not buy us anything. Thanks again. |
