DescriptionI tried to install on a preformatted ext4 empty partition mounting it as root. The installer would not proceed until I selected format and ext4. So there is no way to install on a partition with preexisting data, for example, a /home directory
Steps To ReproduceTry to mount root on a prexisting formatted partition using the boot installer without formatting

Hello.
I suppose that is normal behavior for Anaconda installer.
Have you tried the same on CentOS or RHEL?
