| Description | Installation of VMWare Workstation Pro16 not possible with Release 8.4 and the new Kernel, building the kmod frivers vmnet and vmmon not possible. Reproduceable any time by trying to install | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Rund the Installer as root, when starting VMWare Worksation you will be asked again to build the modules and this will also break. With the Kernel of 8.3 it was no problem. dnf yum groupinstall "Development Tools" will install normally all things needed before install VMware Workstation Pro 16 | ||||
| Additional Information | Without VMWare Workstation Pro it is not usable for me. | ||||

Update, RedHat has the same problem and testing from my side showed CentOS 8 Steam to. https://access.redhat.com/discussions/6067831 |
