| Description | AlmaLinux-8.5-x86_64-boot.iso has size 773,849,088 bytes. I tried to burn it to a blank CD with cdrecord -dev=... (I still have old systems where CD is the most convenient way to install), but it bailed out with: Blocks total: 359849 Blocks current: 359849 Blocks remaining: -18009 wodim: WARNING: Data may not fit on current disk. And when I tried overburning the media anyway, it could not be read correctly. Any chance of reducing the size? The 8.4 *boot.iso is considerably smaller: 709,885,952. Thanks. | ||||
