Not entirely sure this crash should be reported to AlmaLinux or KDE but since the the live ISO has a KDE-beta I thought I might report it here as well. |
Hello and thanks for report! It would be useful to recheck this on CentOS or RHEL to find out is it AlmaLinux specific bug or not. This will help in investigation. |
I will install a CentOS 8 in a similar VM and come back with the result. |
Also if AlmaLinux version is 8.5 please try epel-next because KDE in epel built with Qt 5.12 and RHEL/CentOS/AlmaLinux/whatever 8.5 has Qt 5.15. |
KDE has a successful install on Alma 8.5 having enabled/installed the following: epel-release epel-next-release powertools It works with both X server and Wayland. |
This is not AlmaLinux issue, current `epel` is broken, which needs update |
