|Summary||0000137: GDM sometimes crashes on image and pdf use|
|Description||When I am using Libreoffice writer and recently Evince the system crashes and I am taken back to the command line login interface. I don't have graphical.target set to load automatically. I log in with my credentials and type "sudo systemctl start graphical.target" nothing happens after the crash and it requires a reboot to load start again. I think it is the gdm but I am not sure and can't sort through my log.messages accurately enough to identify why it crashed. |
Its happened when moving images around in libreoffice and when clicking on a pdf to select text on evince. If anyone can guide me to what log info I need to put please let me know. I am looking through it now.
|Steps To Reproduce||attach images to libreoffice writer document and resize and position pictures in it. Have doc open for 1/2 an hour and move pictures around and crash.|
view document on evince and have it up while also searching info on browser. Go back to highlight text and crash.

Every time it crashed I noticed the [email protected] and a starting Mark boot. Looking through these logs I found
