Summary | 0000131: [RFE] Enable openGPG support in thunderbird
Description | Long story short : opengpg support is there by default in upstream thunderbird, but disabled by Red Hat for RHEL (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1886958) We (CentOS Side) decided to rebuild it with a specific patch that in fact revert the rhel patch, and so provide a thunderbird package that can be use for openpgp. The simple patch can be seen in the centosplus branch : https://git.centos.org/rpms/thunderbird/c/fac902a8f3bb58e71da8144a54061da4dcbf1735?branch=c8-plus This is a RFE to consider either rebuilding thunderbird with that feature, or just do like for centos : rebuild in/for another repository Reason is simple : we saw people (including RHEL users) using that pkg as they needed gpg support in thunderbird, and as CentOS 8 will disappear end of this year (and so centosplus repository) people switching to another compatible rebuild will start searching for same level of compatibility
